Editorial/Review Process

Jurnal Serumpun Teknik Informatika (JSTI) implements the following review process policy:

  • Authors are encouraged to perform plagiarism checks and ensure that there are no other copyright violations before submitting.

  • The manuscript submitted by the author will undergo a review process by the editor, especially checking its alignment with the scope and template of the journal. During this process, the editor will communicate with the author to ensure the manuscript is suitable for sending to reviewers or may even return it for revision/decline.

  • Manuscripts that pass the previous step will be sent to two reviewers for content evaluation using a blind review method.

  • The review process will consider novelty, objectivity, methods, scientific impact, conclusions, and references.

  • Reviewers will suggest revisions and/or recommend acceptance or rejection of the manuscript.

  • The editor will decide, considering the reviewers' suggestions, whether the manuscript meets the requirements of the Jurnal Serumpun Teknik Informatika (JSTI).

  • The editor-in-chief's decision is final.

  • The entire review process is fully conducted through the web-based OJS (Open Journal Systems).
